Section 147 of Railway act prescribes that:-

1. If any person enters upon or into any part of a railway without lawful authority he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may be extended to six months or with a fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.

Provided that in the absence of special and adequate reasons to the contrary to be mentioned in the judgment of the court, such punishment shall not be less than a fine of five hundred rupees.

2. Any person referred to in sub-section(1) may be removed from the railway by any railway servant or by any other person whom such railway servant may call to his aid.

However, over Indian Railways, especially over suburban sections deaths occur due to trespassing.

Suggest solutions for reducing trespassing of Railway tracks.

Railway freight must be reduced due to falling oil. Rai's must regain their lost position of biggest transporter, in Natl interest. The delays in delivery, destru'nof goods, due to corrup'n/inefficiency of employees, can be overcome by outsourcing the freight manage't& holding the emplo's accountable. Rai's land may be used for Jatropha plant. (BioFuel), & imp. trees, & build shop.mall/hotels, on platforms, to earn revenue. They must have all including, internet, etc. DrKartikayPandey@gmail.com

The NDLS = LDH Shatabadi Express should be extended upto Pathankot as it keeps stationed at Ludhiana Station for 4-5 hrs., Pathankot can be covered easily by a Shatabadi in this much time.

All important Long Distance Trains on important sectors viz Delhi - Jammu/Katra, Delhi-Mumbai or Delhi-Bangalore etc. should have an A.C. Chair Car even for overnight trains even if it's Rajdhani etc. anyways people are used to travel by Bus, at least no-one will travel with Wait List tickets..

The Rail Land should be barricaded & Freed from trespassing. & Given to Organic Farming on Contract. Biodegadebale waste generated should be treated by installing Biogas plant with Toilet link model at suitable location.

Lot has been published about getting the card for physically handicapped person to enable them to book concessional ticket through irctc website but on visiting the link their is no information available on where to approach and whom to meet The given info is very wage and nobody in DRM office is even aware of this Request to first create awareness in the dealing staff about new launch rather then just publishing on the newspaper and creating problems for handicapped

By using this approach railways can reduce the size of waiting list and get benefits from those people those travelling in general coach and don’t use railways meal. If you apply this formula than there are 72 seat in the sleeper coach in which 18 seat of upper + 18 seat of middle + 18 seat of lower= 54 seat. It mean you can increase 54 seat in a single coach and if any train have 15 sleeper coach then it will increase 54*15 = 810 seats approximately it mean you will increase 11 sleeper coach.

If there are two young friend or father and his child etc who want to reservation for Gorakhpur to Delhi 300+120=420 for a single person and 840 for two person but if they goes for two half ticket reservation then they will paid only 300+60=360 for a single person and only 720 rupees for two person and both of them save 60 rupees per one.

Nowadays reservation charge is 120 rupees for a single seat if any passenger want full seat than he/she will pay 120 rupees or if he want to half seat than he/she will pay only 60 rupees as the reservation charge for half seat reservation.

I want to say that in the sleeper you can convert upper, middle and lower seat or upper and lower seats into the two part like upper A/upper B, middle A/middle B and lower A/Lower B because the seat are sufficient for sleeping two normal people or one person and one child in the night and in the day the seat is sufficient seating 5-6 people which is normal in general compartment.
