Section 147 of Railway act prescribes that:-

1. If any person enters upon or into any part of a railway without lawful authority he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may be extended to six months or with a fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.

Provided that in the absence of special and adequate reasons to the contrary to be mentioned in the judgment of the court, such punishment shall not be less than a fine of five hundred rupees.

2. Any person referred to in sub-section(1) may be removed from the railway by any railway servant or by any other person whom such railway servant may call to his aid.

However, over Indian Railways, especially over suburban sections deaths occur due to trespassing.

Suggest solutions for reducing trespassing of Railway tracks.

We have got a huge diversity in case of Culture, Food, Festivals, and Choices..Also we have got a rich ancestry in terms of handicrafts and food types. We can make available this ancestral creativity to Sell/Purchase across malls which could be set up across Railway networks so that person from Arunachal can buy Ayurveda massage oils from Kerala but in Arunachal or anywhere on the train roots, likewise we could exchange our foods in these malls. Also it could benefit the Feriwalas and stallers..

Engine driver must give the signal while entering into the city or place where the people were crossing. Engine driver must slow down the train speed in these places n should be alert if any one crossing the track or not.

it is the duty of individual who crosses and and as well as railways that they put alert in local language "be careful before crossing". we can not commit suicide for few seconds or few minutes late.

Crossings should be levelled and online system of monitoring the railways should be set up which should be kept under control of central railway.

when i visited Germany my observation on electrification of their railways the structure was rolled steel beams of a particular design mill rolled ,fabricated, painted so as to last several years where as we fabricate with lots of manpower and steel angles and galvanizing .My opinion with their method electrification will be faster as the beams are mass produced.

Vendors in the train pantry car charges random amount which are not according to the standard rate list prescribed by Indian railway. On asking 4 rate list they either refuses of give excuse.I suggested that the standard rate list should be present inside each and every coach like the fire extinguisher guidelines are inscribed for information. This will ensure that every person who is travelling is aware of the correct rates. This will create awareness and reduce corruption from ground level
