Sir;
I really admire government Digital India program but it may in danger due to insufficient internet speed ,frequent drop down and poor infrastructure. Every IT & telecom company is coming forward but no one is talking about speed and quality of the services.Also as per National Telecom Policy the broadband speed should be 2mbps but we are relatively no where and the quality of wireless internet services provided by company are really very unreliable.I hope gov. would take some strict action

Dear sir, Pl note these following points for consideration.
01. Why people cross tracks :Answer is Everybody wants a shortest route to reach their destination. We have to provide a system in a stations in such a way that, pasengers should reach any platform in a station with shortest distance. This rail crossing will be automatically reduced. & there by accidents will also reduce.
02.A system to enter to the railway station with valid ticket before 30 min of perticular train departure.

One request to administrator of this website, please increase the number of words to be commented here up to 1000 words, if you really want the public to give genuine opinion.
Otherwise only personal problems will come up here like start train between so and so station, concessions of 50 % and so on....

I think this is not the forum for just posting personal problems here. It should be for how can Indian Railways be improved. As far as I think only solution to improve our rail system is to privatise them to a certain percentage or make this listed on the stock exchanges.
Make them accountable to public.
We can open the rail transport to private sector to make IR competitive, just like it is happening in foreign countries. If private players can fly airlines, they can also run a train.

Though proper infrastructure seems to be the cause for accidents but it depends on the behavior of the common people as well. The proper advertising of the safety should be the prime motive. Its highly impossible to make fencing all over the route. It can be possible to make people aware of the train timings of the routes and proper communication system.
