My complaint:: I were a passenger by train12696 from ERN to Chennai. My PNR number was 4513957040 berth 23 in A1. When I entered the waiting room for upper class passengers I saw TWO passengers sleeping on the chairs and just below the chairs obstructing passengers from sitting on chairs.I located TWO RPF sfaff and requested them to tell those passengers not to obstruct us from sitting on chairs. They were reluctant .However told me they will come to the waiting hall. But did not come .

The grievance cell of India Railways has to be revamped. At present they do only a post office job and do not prevent recurrence of omissions and lapses. They also do not examine whether replies given by depts are satisfactory. They close the file/complaint even after getting "excuses".

.At unmanned crossings, it is all on people's intelligence. 2.Spread awareness and stiff warning to people by advertising stories of those who had lost lives on these crossings on tv. Driver to be careful। & to blow regular & loud horns as well as control speed at the foresight of a crossing.3. Try to make underpasses at crossings which are commuted much by people. 4.Solar power run tubelights to be installed for nights (ensuring there proper maintenance).Generate hatred against this practice.

In many stations people use short cuts like jumping over the wall and sometimes damaging the wall, thereby gain entry into the stations directly without climbing the stairs. Please build the boundary wall strongly. And please make stations beggars free. They ra big in insecurity as they can help or indulge in anti social activities.

1. Create walls at both the end of platforms. 2. Have glass walls between platform and tracks so that when train arrives at station, only then doors of stations and these doors will open and passengers won't be able to see the tracks. This will also reduce garbage thrown on the tracks. See the photos of Dubai metro, you will get the idea.

in my opinion to avoid accidents on railway crossing .the railway signal posts should be located in a manner so as to allow the train to pass a particular crossing and wait for the signal to avoid public and vehicles unnecessarily waiting to cross over.,the approach road to the crossing should be wide enough with divider for easy movement of traffic.specially near towns .
