All India Council for Technical Education is creating problems to thousands of post graduates by saying that they are not eligible for Asst.Prof. post in engineering colleges simply because they do not have the b.tech degree. This is very unfortunate that when aicte has given permission for admissions to engineering colleges to allow students to join m.tech courses without b.tech degree it did not think of it.We are affected by wrong policy of AICTE(COURT ALSO RESPONDED BUT AICTE NOT)

sir, with due regards i am going to share my experiences. Ministry of HRD has increased the scholarship for the JRF/SRF candidates to boost research in the country but it has demoralized the NET qualified candidates who has opted research over and above their jobs. they have been treated equivalent to non net candidates for scholarship under UPE fellowships. This is very much unfair system and demoralizing the scholars and forcing them to leave the research field and to find jobs to earn.

Currently, age relaxation is given for women candidates who are widows, legally separated and divorced, who are not remarried, for government/psu/bank jobs, etc. Age relaxation should also be given for unemployed women candidates who have borne children; say 1 year for each child, up to a maximum of 2 years.
