Suggest measures to create jobs in rural areas so as to prevent excessive strain on our urban areas and at the same time enhance the development of the villages.

How would creating better employment opportunities in rural areas help stop migration to cities and thus prevent excessive strain on our urban areas at the same time enhancing the development of the villages?

sir what about creating posts of judges....there are only 15 judges per million of population in india whereas there r 100 judges per million in usa...we cannot become developed until true justice delivery becomes part of our system....creating efficient jutice system (judiciary n police) is prime responsibilities of govt.....more important than smart cities or roads.....

My view is about upgrading our fishing industry & I chose rural India to post my blog since we anyway call them "fishing villages"! We should have a separate ministry to upgrade all operations including processing/storage plus modern navigation equipment.

Agriculture and SSI/ Co-op. society on agricultural products has to be kept on top for a developed Rural scenario. The migration of village people to cities & towns has to be stopped and it is possible if self reliance and self employment schemes are implemented honestly. Village women are to be made self sufficient to bring the dream of prosperous village true.

Right to cultivate on government freehold land: For people who do not have the means to livelihood, Aid & assistance from the local government along with proper research facilities and a regulated market backed by the government with its MINIMUM SELLING PRICE SCHEME. This can be the answer to a majority of our problems and the Country's poverty.

Fake ecommerce websites like tolexo.com allowed to flourish despite many complaints seen on the net since Jan 2015. These websites take payment but do not deliver the goods shown. Local cybercrime offices do not maintain any statistics about such sites with the NCRB -national crime records bureau of the Home Ministry. Local cyber crime deptts are understaffed and Tax regulation deptts also do not check these fraud websites from blatantly fooling the public. This website tolexo.com is in NCR

We should not focus more on metropolitan cities only, instead we should look towards rural development. States should set target of building smart cities of 15-20 villages. Infrastructure development should be achieved. ie. Development of Educational inst, hospitals, tech parks, Industries, road/railway connectivity, new tech for agriculture productivity etc. So that rural population would have options of employment. and yhe migration towards metro cities will be reduced drastically.
