India is among 51 countries to sign the “Rome Declaration” on “Achieving Self-sufficiency in Safe Blood and blood products based voluntary non-remunerated donation”. Blood is an intrinsic requirement for health care and proper functioning of the health system. National AIDS Control Organization under Department of Health and Family Welfare has been primarily responsible for ensuring provision of safe blood for the country since 1992. National Blood Policy 2003 reiterates firmly the government’s commitment to provide safe and adequate quantity of blood, blood components and blood products.

However, in India, a needy patient or his relatives have to run from pillar to post in search of blood and the onus of procurement of blood still lies with the patient and not with the service provider.

Suggestions are invited on how to develop a nationally coordinated and well networked blood transfusion service in the country and reach 100% voluntary blood donation to enable us to meet the global goal of self sufficiency in blood and blood products.

I went to the Post office to collect my letter at 9 am which I was told was the scheduled time. However, there was noone. I waited. Around 9.15 employees started coming in and I saw attendance register where a person signed. I didn't had a nice feeling. Our Prime Minister supports technology and here there is no clock card which would have recorded the late arrival. Many people were waiting and frustrated. You might ask which post office. I would request you to check any post office.

Respected Sir, as a cancer specialist I have served in various states of India. Patients are coming in same( advanced ) stage as they were coming 15 years before ,When I was doing MD .So lack of awareness is the main reason for poor health of our society Health sector can create awareness for various diseases by utilising raiway platforms and Bus stands For example- mass awareness campaign for cancer by displaying cancer symptoms at platforms all over India for one month.Same for Blood donation

I would like to focus on PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRIES and DOCTORS MALPRACTICES. Almost all pharma companies giving offers to doctors in terms of GIFTS, MONEY, TOURS, FURNISHING CLINICS, ETC.to prescribe their medicines and this pressure is loaded on MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVES to generate business from Activity doctors. some time some poor drugs and unnecessary quantity of medicines are prescribed by doctors to patient to achieve TARGETS OF SALES FOR THE SAKE OF GIFTS AND MANY MORE. I HAVE PROOFS TOO

I have one suggestion to government to introduce new rule as below to get little control on black money which are generated by house owner who gave their house on rent. Most of the owner take their house rent by cash to pay less income tax and not providing their PAN card details to tenant who want to show it while submitting income tax proof. My suggestion is, this illegal activity can be stopped while government keep mandatory option to provide owner PAN details in rent agreement with PAN Copy
