India is among 51 countries to sign the “Rome Declaration” on “Achieving Self-sufficiency in Safe Blood and blood products based voluntary non-remunerated donation”. Blood is an intrinsic requirement for health care and proper functioning of the health system. National AIDS Control Organization under Department of Health and Family Welfare has been primarily responsible for ensuring provision of safe blood for the country since 1992. National Blood Policy 2003 reiterates firmly the government’s commitment to provide safe and adequate quantity of blood, blood components and blood products.

However, in India, a needy patient or his relatives have to run from pillar to post in search of blood and the onus of procurement of blood still lies with the patient and not with the service provider.

Suggestions are invited on how to develop a nationally coordinated and well networked blood transfusion service in the country and reach 100% voluntary blood donation to enable us to meet the global goal of self sufficiency in blood and blood products.

Healthcare budget is expected to be reduced by 20%, which will worsen the present condition of the government healthcare system. Reducing allocations to very important areas like health is not a correct and sustainable solution to achieve the fiscal deficit target.( More information is available in the article posted by # Logical Indian community in Facebook. ) Please take corrective actions as per BJP's pre-election manifesto.

Health care experts as well as providers in the country are increasingly concerned about the growing incidence of significant health inequalities between rural and urban areas and also between different social groups. SHEENA group with its unique healthcare delivery system is on the mission to bridge this gap through Tertiary Mobile Solutions that has redefined and provided Tertiary care at an affordable price. The solution is an effort to offer Tertiary care nearer to the patient’s door steps

India is undergoing rapid nutritional transition.CHILDREN are increasingly consuming high-saturated-fat snacks, refined carbohydrates and sweetened carbonated beverages. There is an increased inclination to replace traditional meals with energy-dense imbalanced foods. Such dietary patterns with inadequate physical activity trigger the onset of fat deposition and lead to early metabolic derangements such as the DIABESITY. Hence Lets protect our future & HEAL-(healthy eating&Active living) together

Dear PM, Our police system needs many reforms, restructuring and many sorts of advanced traininngs. Its efficiency and effectivity must improve, otherwise our internal security, law and order enforcement, control over crimes and corruption all will remain in present bad condition. You and our HM both must pay enough attention our the overhauling and transformation of police soon. We now need prompt actions regarding this crucial issue.

Hello friends, My Sister died in APEX HOSPITAL , VARANASI due to hospital negligence....I wrote to PM and PMO about it twice and hoped my PM is listening me. I was more hopeful as it is PM own constituency where we had suffered, but neither PMO nor Pm responded... That says it all. nothing has changed..don't fool us any more... Be it Sonia, Mulyam, Lalu, Mamta or Modi...all are same...they all need is your VOTE...if you give them, they will cheat you.
