Television Audience measurement implies measurement of what is being viewed on television. On the basis of audience measurement data, ratings are assigned to various programmes on television. Television ratings in turn influence programmes produced for the viewers.

In 2012 MIB sought recommendations of TRAI for laying down comprehensive guidelines/accreditation mechanism for Television rating agencies in India to ensure transparency and accountability in the rating system. After an exhaustive consultation process TRAI gave its recommendations on “Guidelines/Accreditation Mechanism for television ratings Agencies in India” to MIB on 13th September 2013. The Authority supported self regulation of television ratings through an industry led body. TRAI recommended comprehensive guidelines for registration of television rating agencies. MIB accepted TRAI recommendations and notified Policy Guidelines for Television Rating Agencies in India on 10th January 2014. Under these guidelines, the industry-led body BARC was accredited by MIB on 28th July 2015, to carry out the television ratings in India. BARC commenced its operations in 2015 and since then it is the sole provider of TV rating services on commercial basis.

Several concerns relating to neutrality and reliability of the existing rating system have been raised by stakeholders, which necessitated a need to review of existing Television Audience Measurement and Ratings system in India. Accordingly, TRAI has suo-motu floated this consultation paper with basic objective to solicit the views of stakeholders on regulatory initiatives/measures to be taken to make TV rating services more accurate, widely acceptable. This consultation paper also explores possibilities of use of new technologies to enhance credibility, transparency, neutrality and fairness in the TV rating in India. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 2nd January 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 16thJanuary 2019. माननीय प्रधानमंत्री महोदय आपका ध्यान बिहार के पश्चिम चंपारण जिला के किसानों के समस्याओं की तरफ आकृष्ट करना चाहता हु पिछले साल का गन्ना का भुगतान अभी तक किसानों का नही हुआ है और नया सीजन चालु हो गया है जबकि 15 दिनों के अंदर गन्ना का भुगतान कर देना चाहिये चीनी मिल के द्वारा भुगतान नही होने के चलते किसान परेशान है इसका निदान जल्द से जल्द कराया जाय जिससे किसान खुशहाल हो सकें

Some channels showing good things like devlopment of mindset about castism,be kind to others but some movie contain inappropriate things what is unable to see with family..

Respected Sir, what i see while watching TV debates that Journalists who are participating in debate are not impartial but it seems that some journalists representing a political party and behaves like spokesperson of a political party, which really damaging true and correct analysis of subject of discussion. therefore, there is some short of guidelines for journalist must be there.

प्रधानमंत्री जी नमस्कार 5 -साल में इतना भी नहीं हो सका सही रिपोर्ट पर कारवाई हो RBI NO. (C-1586), C-636. PMOPG/E/2018/0227892, PMOPG/E/2018/0077900, PMOPG/E/2018/0413687 पीएमओ के बाद जनता कहाँ जाये तमिलनाडु की रिपोर्ट है बैंक का खुले आम करप्शन हो रहा है एक करोड़ की जमीन लोन माँगा ३०-४० लाख बताओ किया कमी है सिर्फ रिश्वत नहीं मिल रही बैंक वालों को ऑनलाइन रजिस्टर्ड कर दिया ईमेल से सारे सबूत भेज दिए

मेरा मेरे प्रिय प्रधानमंत्री जी से कहना है कि सब बातें होती है तो किसान के लिए ये करंगे ओ करेंगे लेकिन मुझे बताओ क्या किया किसान के लिए आपने जब किसान को खाद, बीज लेना हो तो महंगा हो जाता है और जब वही किसान का माल बिकने का समय आता है तोह किसान के माल के माल में खराबी रहती है इसका रेट अलग उसका रेट अलग और तो और उतना भाव भी न रहता कि किसान की लागत निकल जाए ये कहा का नियम है मेरा आखिर में एक ही कहना है जिसके मेहनत पे पूरी दुनिया अपना जीवन चलती है उसी के लिए कुछ नही सोचा जाता है।

Dear sir most of the serial in TV contains violent scene, movie contains voilance and woman folk are being shown as a product with shortness cloths. Youth attract all it. There shall be rule and regulations regarding inclusion of violance, outfits door woman, proper use of police n military uniform etc. TV media influences youth thus there need to be restrictions.

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी पब्लिक स्कूल में कार्यरत अध्यापकों को जो वेतन दिया जाता है वह सरकारी विद्यालयों में कार्यरत समकक्ष अध्यापकों की तुलना में अत्यधिक कम है। कृपया इस पर कोई कार्यवाही अवश्य करें जिससे ऐसे अध्यापकों को भी उचित वेतन प्राप्त हों। एक औऱ निवेदन है कि क्या कुछ ऐसा संभव है कि हर अध्यापक को सरकारी स्कूलों में नौकरी से पूर्व किसी पब्लिक स्कूल में अनुभव प्राप्त करना अनिवार्य हो एवं पब्लिक स्कूल के अध्यापक को 15 वर्षों से अधिक अनुभव होने पर सरकारी नौकरी मिल जाये।

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी मेरा आपसे निवेदन है कि आजकल जो ये webseries का प्रचलन शुरू हुआ है इस पर भी सेंसर बोर्ड का नियंत्रण आवश्यक है क्योंकि इस पर जो कार्यक्रम प्रसारित किये जा रहे हैं उनमें इतना अधिक violence एवं सेक्स डाल दिया जाता है कि आज की हमारी पीढ़ी के लिए वह अत्यधिक घातक सिद्ध होगा। अतः आपसे विनम्र निवेदन है कि इस ओर निश्चित रूप से कोई न कोई ठोस कदम उठाए जाएं जिससे इस प्रकार के प्रसारण पर रोक लग सके।
