Sir spectrum value of radio channels is very high for startups in this area rather you can add a cess or spectrum usage tax on revenue of radio stations then auction spectrum that way it will increase ease of doing business and increase compition right now FM Radio is a monopoly business with no easy entry or exit.

Before finalising the auction of FM radio,we must ensure the terms and conditions that they will run it in the same way as now it is running,They will not make it a profit making Industry. They will provide Quality based programs and also fulfill social responsibility also.

Before auctioning FM channels in India, their bandwidth and frequency must be increased in such a way that they can be accessed through out iIndia. For example when we try to use any fm channels outside NCR. It becomes very difficult to connect those FM channels. So merely auctioning those FM channels are not important than providing enough bandwidth and frequency to cover entire country
