The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) sent a reference dated 22nd August 2019, seeking recommendations of TRAI on reserve prices for 283 cities (260 new + 23 existing), under FM Phase-III Policy.

Accordingly, this Consultation Paper has been prepared to seek the comments/views of the stakeholders on the issues related to estimation of the reserve prices for auction of FM Radio channels.

As part of the consultative process, the Consultation Paper has been uploaded on the TRAI website. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 6th November 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 13th November 2019.

Mandatory activity by government employee for any new features in banks, insurance or any department for the welfare of citizens should be announced in radio also. More employment opportunities should be announced in radio so that every individual who can't expense can get to know about the employment opportunity. Every new statute should be announced so that no individual is unaware from any such statute. Education should be given by some announced like any amendment in syllabus.

Yes, though we became technologically advanced but the merits of FM Radio should not be neglected.Proper attention to FM channels is need of the hour.The citizens including students must also be made a part of Broadcasting of Radio Channels as it will then make them understand the importance of FM and remember that the days are not gone when FM radios were very useful. They were,are and will be beneficial in taking the country forward together as we know, radios helped in the freedom struggle.

Sir, Few year ago in our village the Radio streets facilities care connection on road sides but the Mike and connection are damage and not working. We can not participate the Radio programs and can not getting the news in time.

FM radio is one and the very important of means of communication. According to the old people it's a gold resource for them. ' OLD IS GOLD". we can hear music,news,comedy etc............ it is useful for Farmers,barbers, government employees etc....
