The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) sent a reference dated 22nd August 2019, seeking recommendations of TRAI on reserve prices for 283 cities (260 new + 23 existing), under FM Phase-III Policy.

Accordingly, this Consultation Paper has been prepared to seek the comments/views of the stakeholders on the issues related to estimation of the reserve prices for auction of FM Radio channels.

As part of the consultative process, the Consultation Paper has been uploaded on the TRAI website. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 6th November 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 13th November 2019.

I'm listener of FM radio chennai. Because I've constraint of having television due to lack of time, ... Kindly keep radios in public places like bus stand, railway stations... In Govt. Hospitals, it is a good medicine, ie. Stress relieving therapy hearing good music. Popularity among public causes the auction more successful. Hence make the FM radio popular.

FM Radio it is use full for the mediums Family and oldest people. We should give respect to FM Radio. It is oldest gold.

price hike should be done as the Economical growth of the Country is important, but before this we should confirm that the anti national ideology people should not get this Band licence,Money is important to run a government meanwhile our integrity is more important than money for the developing country like INDIA

आज भी दूरदराज क्षेत्रों में मोबाइल नेटवर्क नहीं पहुंचते ही परन्तु उन क्षेत्रों में रेडियो मनोरंजन का मुख्य साधन बना हुआ हैं।
