The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) sent a reference dated 22nd August 2019, seeking recommendations of TRAI on reserve prices for 283 cities (260 new + 23 existing), under FM Phase-III Policy.

Accordingly, this Consultation Paper has been prepared to seek the comments/views of the stakeholders on the issues related to estimation of the reserve prices for auction of FM Radio channels.

As part of the consultative process, the Consultation Paper has been uploaded on the TRAI website. Written comments on the consultation paper are invited from the stakeholders by 6th November 2019. Counter-comments, if any, may be submitted by 13th November 2019.

I have 2 suggestion 1) there should be all India fm channel on business and stocks and related national international news in english and hindi and that too professionally managed 2) from kalpana chawla centre for space and Nano sciences kolkata http://www.kccsns.net.in we would like to start an fm channel on science if we are sponsored.

Sir, my concern is not based on above subject. But it may impact our national interest. My concern is how e-commerce companies are raising funds eventhough they are publishing that they are under huge loss. Amazon has lost nearly 5,000 crores this deepavali. Why should be pay from our pocket to enjoy their loss. Please suggest. About above topic, it's easier way to reach people than any other media to sprea awareness and government ideas.

FM station is the only one channel,where it connects million's of people.via the mode of FM channels the RJ's plays a vital role that they not only tune the old & new songs but also work as an social responsibility holder. The RJ's share the awareness & give the message for society. Example :RJ's to their listeners -they share message & awareness about on topic segregation&safe disposal of plastic waste i.e plastic free city 92.7 big FM .So FM also plays important role in connecting people.

Many people might not have access to internet, they depend on FM's to get news,music... And wonderful thing is that, it is available in mobile phones also.

FM Radio should be there. Government has taken good initiative for FM Radio. Still we hope that Radio is better than Television. It is good for the childrens.
