Sir Your idea of NeHA is great. This must promote one portal connected all India with Aadhar card, used by all Doctors, pharmacies to prescribe and dispense to every citizen. This will help reduce malpractice. This will help cover all citizens and ensure who is healthy and who desire help. It like DBTL .

1) Computerization of all patient records at all Government hospitals (Private hospital is also preferable) & sharing with adequate safeguards for patient privacy. 2) Issuing a unique identification number to each patient (Aadhar number is preferable). This can be started first for BPL families and persons with Government benefits, prisoners, under-trials etc. 3) This number will help in preventing leakages & making patients history available to treating Doctors.

We should involve TSDSI ( Indian standards body for telecom standards) work on health M2M: http://tsdsi.org/media/topic_documents/TSDSI-M2M-TR-UCD_Health-V0.1.0-20150306_1.docx and reference ETSI's work on e-health : http://www.etsi.org/technologies-clusters/technologies/medical/ehealth Also, NeHA should consider M2M/IoT devices in relevance to healthcare as they are a rising trend and will have an implication for all stakeholders when it comes to accessing/stroing health data.

Aadhar data can be used for identification purpose and for those who don't have Aadhar number, a smart card can be issued.

How about creating a PPP organization that can assist in EHR management. Private hospitals can outsource the Record management services from such organization. It'll reduce the implementation cost for establishment and maintenance of infrastructure necessary for EHR management.

With the increasing trend of people getting effected by Hypertension and Diabetes it is mandatory on the part of the the Gov to make investigation for BP and Blood Sugar free ! Kiosks should be put up in localities for free check ups. At least 80% of the rural population are unaware about their BP and sugar levels giving rise to kidney failures and other diseases.

Everyone wants to be healthy and no one wants to live in dirty surroundings. Now the people are ready to spend for cleanliness so gov should provide the emergency service (such as ambulance and fire safety) for the cleanliness of society by taking some charge as 200-500 rs. for urgent waste disposal requirement. If pizza can come 30 min why the municipal corporation service not for swatch bharat?
