Footpaths around defense and Public sector campuses have to be taken up and handled by those entities. AT least in Bangalore the footpaths in the BEML campus or in HMT are completely missing. Thi causes dust to increase and people then thrown things as well in those areas. Also, if there is proper planning, one can grow trees or make them look beautiful by having some ornamental plants.

One of the most overlooked aspect that needs to be tackled for attaining Swachh Bharat is Pollution. Pollution of Air, Water, Noise, Light. Here are the Top 10 Things to do in my opinion - 1. Recycling of Plastics 2. Use Mass Transport 3. Use Electric Vehicles 4. Water body Treatment 5. Use of LED bulbs 6. Ban on Crackers 7. Fine on Littering\Spitting in Public Areas 8. Industrial Waste Treatment 9. Rain Water Harvesting 10. Green Revolution Conserving Nature is our duty to our Nation.

One key enabler that is missing in the 'Swach Bharat' drive is the 'availability of Dustbins'. In many crowded markets or frequently used streets, there are no Dustbins available where people can dispose of garbage. Even if a person is 'keen' not to litter, he / she often has to walk a long distance before finding a place to throw this garbage and this place may not be a dustbin itself! There have been 'security' concerns with dustbins in the past, but a solution is necessary!

My mom collects all garbage on my house in a plastic bag but when it comes to throwing it away she simply throws it out of house, when i tried to stop that she says there r no garbage bins in the city and those which are there are never cleaned. Sir please setup a waste management system because without that it is impossible to clean our county.

As we travel across the country,we see lot of plastic,non-biodegradable waste littered roadside, drainage canals, beside the walls of the houses. It simply shown we have developed a 'Use and throw' culture. What we need is a cultural change.Plastic is dominating our lives. To eradicate plastic consumption,we require alternative material and proper disposal habits.Constructing Swachh Plastic Pits in every colony/village and direct public to dump plastic waste in such pits could reduce plastic pileup.

A group can be created here where the members post locations/images of villages which do not have toilets or are piling up waste due to lack of awareness of hygenie. Corporations can be encouraged to create biogas and fertilizer production factories to make most of the waste. Ayurvedic anti parasite/infection neem/basil/etc medicine can be distributed in rural areas, if results are positive it gives scientific validation to the Ayurvedic pharmaceutics industry as well as promotes hygenie locally
