All NRIs - think of constructing 1 toilet in your hometown back in India either individually or as a group of NRIs from same hometown. I guess the approx cost would be Rs 1 lakh. A network of contributors & executors will need to be created to aid this. However, getting 1 toilet constructed would be easier than maintaining it later, so this is where the government / community help will be needed

Suggestion - in the budget - provide an allowance (of lets say Rs. 500) to all Indians every year to keep their country clean. Intention is not the money but to impact their psyche and instill responsibility. This will be one among the various initiatives, so over a period of time, it can make a difference

if with immediate effect Your Government take cognizance of putting all efforts on cleaning Yamuna in Delhi & Ganga in Varanasi or Allahabad in particular . Needless to mention on the bank of river create concrete platform with cement sofa / Dust bin / Street lights. With AMC For further cleaning & maintaining the place as it is with supervisory watch on daily basis by local administration. This will certainly create confidence in people at large. As this issue touches the heart of all indian.
