Corporate participation and funding can render significant impetus to "Swachh Bharat" campaign. A model of incentivizing Corporate through Tax Benefit can propel them to invest and participate to a scale far beyond their CSR activities. Similarly, individual citizens can recognized and rewarded through benefits in municipal taxes / utility bills to make the movement more compelling. A model can be defined to recognize a ward / residential complex for the activities undertaken.

Sir Swachch bharat is indeed a great movement for cleaning our country. From the first example set by u Sir and individuals and groups doing their part is inspiring. In order to attain the target we need planned action.First of all we need to create a database of areas in cities ,towns and villages covering the entire country which are not swachch and require action. The entire citizens can participate in this process.Once the areas are identified we can start cleaning them in a time bound manner

Where is the Report Card from Ms. Uma Bharati. Shee should be more visible on social media and electronic media with status of implementation of clean ganga scheme And future proposals. Need to follow up continually for success. Please employ Project Management Professionals (PMP) to manage such projects under the honourable minister. Thank you.

Use of latest technolgy is to be adopted and dependency on manual labour is to be phased out. Availabilty of Dustbins and clean toilets are to be increased so that whenever required one can find the pproachable facility then one will not relieve in public. Under CSR industries shall be engaged more proactively in such activity. Part privatisation of waste management system may also be helpful. This needs to included as part of curriculum of studies.

I being NRI when I compare the cleanliness of other very small countries to our India, it sometimes hurts. There are multiple reasons. Main is governmental infrastructure that works. India has all infrastructure but most of the time it does not works. Dustbins over flows with garbage and are not cleaned regularly by municipal corporations. Appointed sweepers in area are hardly to be seen performing their duties with sincerity. Such things, under government control needs lot of improvement.

Plastic bags are not solution, there should be proper garbage dump area, they should have some big garbage bins and then truck can take to nearest garbage treatment plant..

Most of the focus till now on Clean India is to tackle the waste generated and not on the ways to reduce waste generation. If PM inspires people to reduce plastic bags (especially when purchasing vegetables and daily stuff), we can soon turn Dirty India to clean India.

Sir, Indian people r so very shameless, that even after ur starting this movement, they continue to litter in public, throw garbage, spit on road. So to make India seriously clean, strict n effective law is needed with severe punishment. N to see to it that the law is properly followed, CCTV cameras should b installed at public places. Also citizens should b given the power to capture anyone breaking the law n upload it on internet n can also send to the Concerned gov. Department.
