A great move is already in place. India is set for cleanliness adventure. Lets make every effort count. My opinion is to link SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN with an effective and high tech DRAINAGE SYSTEM.We need to be very careful in every move we make,Sir constructions of roads are in progress in DELHI (Uttamnagar) without proper drainage system, one of the many examples one can refer to but since i live in this area i feel a concern and want to make it to your notice.we need effective inspection.

The drive for Swachh Bharat is a good initiative by the Govt. of India. Under this drive, making of toilet in schools and other public places is also a good idea but this drive will be successful if it is ensured that water is available in these toilets and regular cleaning is done. Otherwise only making toilets with bricks and cement WILL SERVE NO PURPOSE.

I feel the current effort of Swach Bharat is not very effective. A better Solution is to designate a certain geographical area as litter free zone starting from the city center and gradually increase the geographical are to cover the entire city. For ex: In a city like Mysore. Designate 1 Km surroundings of Mysore Palace as litter free zone, Provide dustbins every 50 meters and evolve a mechanism to empty the dustbins at regular intervals. Impose penalties on those who violate litter free zone.
