These drug addict beggars are residing on the footpaths of Connaught place, without any fear of police . They make the footpaths soo unhygienic that a normal person just can't walk around them without covering their noses because they defecate in open that too on the footpaths of the the capital of India. How can we think of cleaning the whole India when the capital that too Connaught place is in this situation from past 2-3years and the best part is no body act on them,it's such a shame

I would like to seek your kind attention towards the drug addict beggars cum thrives living on the footpaths in and near Connaught place.They live on the footpath making it impossible for the general public to walk freely and safely. They make their food, bathe and the most important defecate in open on the footpath. I sometimes wonder they don't have money to feed themselves then how can they afford a drug? And why don't Delhi police act on them? This is the situation of the CAPITAL OF INDIA ?

1.At every 500 meter of Road,Fixed Hinged Type Drum type Dust Bin be kept . 2.Each Market Association /Commercial establishment/Industrial Units/Housing Societies ,colonies etc be encouraged to keep atleast their premises with 50 meter surroundings clean. 3.School Children be encouraged for cleanliness. 4.Litering in public places should be made punishable. 5.Plastic Bags of bad quality should be banned ,People can buy fruits/vegetables in bags made of clothes/jutes/paper.

All the villages MUST have a development plan for futur Expansion. Once the plans are finalised and all the land available in the villages are earmarked : 1 planned activities for solid waste management can be worked out. 2. After the village settlement plan is made . Liquid waste management in the form of drainage system can be put to use. 3. The people in the village MUST learn to pay for the cleanliness charges, howsoever small. 4. Villages have to put into practise garbage collection

The following needs to be done on priority to keep places clean 1. There should be plenty of dust bins every where in places which are crowded. 2. All the shopping complexes should have responsibility to keep their surroundings clean. 3. All the food joints and juice sellers , Chat wallah , and people should have dust bins . 4. Garbagge MUST NOT be allowed to be dumped at any place for collection at a later date. 5. Garbagge after collection from homes should be taken away to dumping sites

Introduce legal provisions for imposing fines for littering & spitting in public areas and these should be strictly implemented. Goverment appointed representatives (can be Cleaniless Officers) should be deputed at various public places to impose and collect fines on the people littering and Spitting on teh roads, footpatf, parks etc. I am sure that the cost of deploying such Cleaniless Officers can easily be met from the fines collected from the defaulters.

Very nice initiative sir, I see, in our city, company, around house, public places ppl are contributing really well with this pace we can certainly achieve our goal of clean india by 2019. now we must keep this up.

As is quite clear that the main source of visible idiots is ,due to plastic / polythene bags strewn all over. Than what is taking so long to stop the production pf these bags? This may not even need the parliaments approval. Why the delay in taking such a minor step that will have major impact on cleanliness!

I've just returned from a visit to 2 districts of Marathwada region as NLM. India never ceases to surprise . In one village in Parbhani district I found that most of the toilets constructed under various schemes have been converted to bathrooms. And people are still going for open defacation. So what is the solution ? Should we not now insist on making bath cum latrines? Or else after few years we will find toilets converted to bathrooms and the problem of open defacation still the same .

Hi Sir, railway tracks of almost all railway stations become dirty due to use of toilet when train is standing on platform. Fixing of temparory small tank under toilet pipe and which will be activated automatically while train is stopped at station and it should get empty once train is away from platform. This will help to reduce dirtyness for platforms.
