PWDs (Persons with disabilities) has got each and every right under the sky legally. But implementations of these become a herculean task. There are three major life stages where intervention is badly needed at both state and

Sir, At ground level the administration has not become responsive. The service delivery is poor. Administration is not accountable for timely delivery of services. the only answer is "Citizen Charter". In Citizen Charter there should be penalty to the person for not giving timely service. secondly all services application should be acknowledged digitally and SMS/EMAIL type acknowledged and delivery of services should be intimated through SMS/EMAIL. This will put pressure on administration.

This comment addresses the issues noted by Nidhi Gupta. I live in the US and have a 5 year old with special needs. I would like to share what the employers here do - they are required to give individuals with special needs the same opportunities as everyone else. In fact when applying for a job online, one of the fields asks the applicant to indicate if they have a disability. Accordingly, I believe the company is required to call the applicant (if all other criteria are met) for an interview.
