The Prime Minister shared a visionary approach to transform the development journey of our villages in the form of the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. The initiative calls upon MPs to select a village in their constituency and make it a Model Village by 2016. Furthermore, the number of model villages should increase as time progresses so that in a decade a large number of villages become Model Villages across India.

The rationale behind a landmark idea such as this is clear- India lives in the villages and India will only progress when our villages progress. Development of villages can happen best when everybody walks shoulder to shoulder and contributes towards the comprehensive development of the village. And who better than the local Members of Parliament to drive this change!

This specially created forum on MyGov invites out of the box ideas on how the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana can become the driving force in bringing a qualitative difference in our villages. Lets make the development of our villages a grand mass movement and together create a golden future for rural India.

Dear Modi Ji, Can we pls work on the following to reduce traffic jams and save time and petrol? 1. Launch Toll card for automatic payment of toll road payment. No need for toll charge gates. 2. Plan to reduce red lights and convert it to flyover bridges. 3. Traffic police should be given more authorities like Crime police so that public will obey traffic rules . The law should be strict like jumping red light will be treated as attempt to murder. 4. Installation of Speed monitoring radar.

In India tax for vehicle is collecting for 15 years. Is it necessary to collect it for such a long period? Instead of that Road transport authority can collect it yearly. One of the advantage is that all the fines for traffic violation can be collected every yearly. This will defiantly help to reduce traffic rule violation & getting pending fines.Implement speed detection cameras everywhere & surveillance cameras in crowded cities. This income can be used for road infrastructure development.

Does anyone think about the money collected in toll gates? Is they are safely reaching the government treasuries? I'm working in Dubai. I want to explain the toll gate technology here. Here there is a Tag which is pasted in the vehicle.it can be recharged as we do in mobile. If we pass our vehicle through that gate money will be deduced from our tag account. its so simple then why we can't do it in India. Also there are free tags for those how resides near that gates, police, ambulance etc

Creation of groups area wise and delegating the volunteers who ever registering here be given some duty in the related interest shown by them. If even they give 3 hour a week, the society at large will change. Also involve all the social organisations in the same. Any public organisation with leading Corporate CSR service can be connected and the deficiency in every part of the country can be eliminated. Action report to be submitted with time duration and accountability.
