The Prime Minister shared a visionary approach to transform the development journey of our villages in the form of the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana. The initiative calls upon MPs to select a village in their constituency and make it a Model Village by 2016. Furthermore, the number of model villages should increase as time progresses so that in a decade a large number of villages become Model Villages across India.

The rationale behind a landmark idea such as this is clear- India lives in the villages and India will only progress when our villages progress. Development of villages can happen best when everybody walks shoulder to shoulder and contributes towards the comprehensive development of the village. And who better than the local Members of Parliament to drive this change!

This specially created forum on MyGov invites out of the box ideas on how the Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana can become the driving force in bringing a qualitative difference in our villages. Lets make the development of our villages a grand mass movement and together create a golden future for rural India.

Building up an Adarsh gram (model village) which will consist of all the modern facilities which a rural society needs for urban transformation. The village which is modern and in which all sections live in harmony. Where everyone lives with dignity, and honour. Aim of the scheme should be to integrate development of the selected villages so that they have all required physical and social infrastructure for an all round socio-economic development. These should a have economic indicators.

Mr. PM I lost my two critical years of student life thinking about political & administrative environment of the country and its possible solutions. All the scams gives me the message that authorities are fooling &looting us & it makes unrest in my heart and distracts my concentration from studies. So please maintain a good atmosphere through social justice as it is the key to internal security, stability, good governance & social development. I know this is not in the agenda but please do it..

All Govt. Officials (Including Hon'ble President & PM) should use Indian made cars instead of BMW/ Merk etc. Use Swadeshi first in atleast all Govt. Departments in respect of all usables be it daily routine even Indian Pens, stationery, papers, cars etc. & On Diwali as well only Indian lights should be utilised to lightening the Rashtrapati Bhawan/ PMO and other Govt offices instead of Chinese Lights.... Start this process from within the Govt and this will impact general public as well.

Have CCTV cameras installed in every office except the toilet. Let the same be viewable over the net and a big screen outside the office. Let everything be transparent. Then corruption will come down. Let the offices have transparent walls except toilets. We will know what the officers are doing. That will be better and effective than punching etc to ensure that they are in the seat and doing the work. Also we will know who visits them.
