As were are moving towards attracting foreign investment in our infra development, we should encourage investment in solar power as an alternate energy source. All street lights should be made solar powered. We should also move towards go-green initiative.

Many villages have been getting rid of frequent power failures. Why shouldn't we take a forward step in power saving in different modes Just like ......power off street lights on full moon day with clear sky ,even for a while or at small streets ...............

My suggestion regarding the electricity consumption for street lights. at night time street lights are on even if no one passes on that roads/streets it creates lots of wastage in power. If govt. start the switch/sensor for every two electricity poles and it should be turn on for 100 seconds then it should automatically turnoff after that. then we can save lot of power.
